Amazing Birria tacos. The toppings are all packaged individually so it's perfect for taking to go. Would definitely go again!

I think these might be some of my favorite tacos in Boston! It's tough finding good, authentic Mexican food in the area, but after hearing many people recommend Taqueria Jalisco, I knew I had to check it out for myself. The place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall with only a few tables. Luckily, we got a table inside when we arrived on a Friday evening. I ordered three tacos with various different meat options and a horchata. I love how the tacos came with some refried beans, rice, and salsa. Everything paired so perfectly together. The ingredients were relatively simple, yet so fresh and full of flavor. The horchata was also the perfect drink to wash everything down with. It had a perfect cinnamon flavor and wasn't too sweet, which I enjoyed. I'll definitely be returning to try out some of their other delicious looking food!

Hands-down, some of the most authentic delicious food I've ever had. The Birria tacos are a a must get have.. ambience is great and the service was astounding. Not a lot of space, so if you have a group be patient, but know it's well worth it!!

This restaurant is incredible. The portion sizes are so worth it, and it tastes very authentic. Many say that Taqueria Jalisco offers the best tacos in the Boston area, and they are right. The serving staff is also really friendly and welcoming. If you love Mexican food, or just food in general, please go to this taqueria!

Real Authentic Mexican food. A little overpriced but I get it, it's Boston. People are the nicest. The place is a vibe with the Mexican music.

There's not much to say about Jalisco, other than that it's the best Taquería in the immediate Boston area. They do great catering (have called in orders to them twice now), exceptional meats, fresh produce (no weird limes or wilted cilantro, lettuce, or cabbage here), awesome salsas, and rice and beans that can be a meal unto themselves. Put that in or with the tortilla variation of your choosing and you've got a great time ;P Staff are always friendly and helpful, and I'm really glad to see that they're always busy now :) hopefully they never change, but given the customer base they have, why would they?

Taqueria Jalisco is located in east Boston and has THE BEST birria tacos I've had in the area! I loved the juicy, melty, fall apart in your mouth beef that paired so perfectly with the spiced consomé I loved their horchata and you just have to try their nachos con carne to share with friends (it's so addicting)! I love the staff because they are the sweetest and made jokes about drinking my horchata because they forgot to bring it out haha

I feel like it's so hard to find authentic Mexican food in/near Boston and this is only the third one I've found. The restaurant is in Eastie which has so much good food! It's a pretty casual place and you order at the front. Service is quick and people are sweet! We ordered steak tacos, carnitas tacos, birria tacos, and horchata. The steak tacos were yummy, seasoned well and not dry. Also, I like the tortillas. The carnitas tacos were not great and very dry. The birria tacos were so delicious. Super crispy tortilla, juicy meat, nice spice. The consome was also thicker than usual which gave it extra flavor. Horchata? Amazing, not too sweet. If you're ever in east boston or wanna venture out to get authentic food, check this place out!

The restaurant is in a bustling neighborhood with many restaurants in East Boston. Parking is easier during the weekend as resident parking isn't in effect. There is limited seating and many customers ordered takeout. If you opt to dine-in you would order and pay at the counter. The dining tables have really beautiful tile. The Carne Adobada came with soft tortillas and a plate of vegetables. The green cilantro sauce is amazing, you'd definitely want more! The pork was so delicious and full of flavor. A lot of people got the birria tacos.

Great find in East Boston. Loved their pozole, which has been very hard for me to find in Massachusetts! It had a lot of hominy and a lot of meat. They also provided many sides/toppings for the soup. I also had one taco and it was outstanding. The meat was so flavorful and reasonably priced at 3.75. Will totally be returning here!
